SG: Final Briefing

I realize I do not have a lot of picture posted up here at the moment. If this continues on, I think I will get very bad assessment marks because a requirement of at least 3 pictures should be posted up along with the post. I’m still undecided whether to put my pictures in ‘Facebook’ and put the minimum here or put every single one of them here. I guess I’ll just have to try out and see how it goes on the first day…

Final Briefing/Meeting was on Thursday (26th Feb)
We took the first group photo there, too (:

Mr Wong gave us the t-shirt above. I think the men’s cutting nicer because the ladies cutting are a bit short. Anyways, I receive a size-M, I can live with it. I already washed it; hand-washed (must practice mah~ Lol). Have to wear it when meeting the rest in the airport in a few days’ time.

I changed my money on the Friday (27th). The rate was about 1:4.4. I saw Winson’s blog and I guess he could be right about the rate decreasing but there might also be a possibility of different money changer different rate. I’m not sure but I changed my money (okay, my Dad’s) in Boon Lay Shopping Centre (Yeah, the old place where there used to be McDonalds. LOL! Sorry, my geographic directories aren’t very good. You can take bus 99 from Clementi to go there though…) I think I need more, still deciding whether to change 100 or 200 dollars more or not. =/My family accompanied me to do a bit of shopping after that, to prepare for my days there. I thought of buying a small pot so that I can cook Maggi or some kind of dinner if we all planned to stay in. My dad helped me describe what I want to the salesperson. He straightaway points me to a Travel Cooker.

He told us the pilots and stewardesses have been making use of this as well, for their own travel convenience. It’s really small. I think its super cute but it bears quite a weight. Now, I’m not sure whether I am able to keep to my 20kg quota. Sighs~

By the way, anyone is welcome to use it with me but I may have to charge you some money or ask you buy something for me in return (like big, big drinkable water bottles or something). I don’t think it’s fair if I let everyone have the liberty to use it since I’m the one who has to carry it around. I hope you all understand. I think I am negotiate-able? haha

Mum’s been rummaging in her closets, pulling out sweaters and jackets (okay, just a sweater and one jacket) I never seen her wear before. She told me to try and it is a little short but it’ll do. I got gloves and new socks, too!

I had set aside my things. [picture above]. Well, maybe it’s TOO set aside. Probably I would start and finish packing by tonight. At least that’s what I am aiming for. I think my ratio of food and clothes is like: 2:1.

I’m damn serious. -.-

Last but not least...
