Day 1 - Away From Home

This is the day where 21 multi-discipline engineering (MDE) students of Ngee Ann Poly took off to Wuhan, Hubei-province, China. Along with Mr Wong, all of us took the 8 am flight.


this is just something to remind us of how packed Terminal 1 is with EE, MDE and LSCT students with/without friends and family members that came to send us off ~

I panicked when i woke up and realised the time. 430am! Since we are suppose to be at the airport by 5.30 am there's no way i can make it on time. Gave a text to Xiang Yu (my grp leader), and hurried up with mum and dad . Guess what? I made it, still. Whew~

I am already missing my mum and dad. They're the couple at the left side of the picture.

its not halal.









yeapp. i was like whatt? -______- the first tyme i went on plane all of their menus are halal. well, probably because that plane is from malaysia? haha so yeah, that was the major lesson that i learnt. Many thanks to Randolph for pointing it out.

besides that, the views in the plane was amazing.

With God's will, we arrived safe and sound in Guangzhou and then Wuhan. '

The worst thing that hit all of us was the drastic change. 

Wuhan was COLD! 
Thats a picture of me while all of us are sorting the luggage and heading to the Dormitories (Dorm). So far, food can be found for us, Muslims. I am only aware of one food stall somewhere near the Dorm and the muslim canteen which teacher will show us tomorrow. 

Its been a long day. and its really can-see-your-breath-everytime-you-open-your-mouth and wear-as-many-layers-in-your-pants,top, socks, heads-etc cold.
