Day 3 - First IS Lesson With Ms Sally

in the morning, the weather wasnt as cold as the days before.. but its still chilly especially when the wind starts blowing.

we were told class starts at 9am. when we reached there, the IS lecturer (Sally) wasnt there. -.- Mr Wong finally called her and we were told class were pushed to 1-5pm. Zzz~

We were going to head back to the hostel when XY told us he's off to the supermarket. Not wanting him to go on his own, most of us went with him.

Good thing we did, too, i guess? they have free health checkups and haircuts just outside the supermarket. XY provided me the information but i dint take any photos of it. Most of the rest did though. with their camera's flashing and some of them talking to the locals, they were like a bunch of street news reporter la! haha, cute huh? (: it was worth it.

Besides, i saw some interesting things in the supermarket when we were searching a Halal instant maggi cup in the maggi department;

see that long thing taped in the middle of the maggi packet? its sausage! wont find sausage that long in Sg huh? weiguang held it while i snapped btw, the gang suspect it to be chicken but i don want to take any chances with that (:

We separated after that. Hash and me decided to eat in bunk after getting some hot water from Xy and Weiguang's room. Slack around and went to class soon after. Took this on our way to class:

i guess it is getting warmer, more and more people are playing outdoors.

At first the lecture is interesting. Subsequently the lecture seems to take veryyyy long and starting to feel a drag... It could be because of the four hours straight...

Learn some things though the nationalities in China (to name afew there are: Han, Hui, Manchu, Mongoliao etc), the population size and their area square, the "celebrities", some of the beliefs the chinese in China believed, the two famous battlefields. The lecturer gave us afew shopping places to stopby during our stay here...

Some of the things we saw in lecture are taken down in snapshots;

~ the four beauties.. was said each of their beauty was compared to fishes' reactions, birds' reactions, the moon and also the flowers.

the above is like a saying that describes the Hubei people.

The view from where i was sitting~ Lecture ended at 5. I think my butt is cramp from sitting too long. Must get used to it already.

While the rest took off to Singapore Town to walk2 and have their dinner, Hash and I went to walk around the Muslim stall area. We discovered stalls that we could go shopping for and also spotted more red-cheeks toddler and children walking and playing around that area.

We both were quite 'paisey' to go in and sit down. Partly because there were quite alot of people, another part is because we've been there for too many times (it seems). When finally a lady stood up and leave the stall we went in and settle down.

I had been practicing "Ji Tan Mian" (Noodle Soup with Egg) eversince the last hour of lecture but i guessed i failed coz the owner just looks at me. =/ sad~ ohwells atleast, hash knows how to pronounce. LOL
just looking at it again makes me hungry all over! hahah

Tomorrow BPE starts. 10-12 pm!! then i want go eat lunch at the Muslim Canteen stall or else my card later wasted ryte? i think im craving for fried chicken. DOnt know where to get it... anyone knows how to get Halal Fried Chicken in Wuhan, Hubei-province, China????
