Day 4 - My First Bought Item

Its a Sad day for me..
True Or False?
(Scroll Down To Answer :)

The day started with a 9 am exclamation from Xinhui-

Xh: EH! ITS 9AM ALREADY EH!
Hash: HUH? *quickly grab her things* I go shower first!
I groggily nod and let her occupy the bathroom.

I stared up at my upper deck and close my eyes a little while. LAst night slept quite late, around 12.15 plus plus, because i was videocalling with my mum and sisters. (: So hard to wake up the following day. LOL.

After me and Xh had our turns, we head off outside where the rest had gathered (much earlier) to go class together. On our way to our first BPE lesson, Linda, one of the local students who sang (Jap song) on the Movie Night, caught up with us to say HI.

A little sidetrack: I think Linda's english is stronger than most of the other local students, besides that she also have that keen and cheerful personality that (according to what I see so far) is quite rare in the local students, especially the ones who are not the representatives of the WUST Student Union.

The Student Union Reps have been very friendly and hospitable towards us so far. I heard they brought breakfast for Hajar and Masita the other day. Too bad, Hash, Xh and me didnt get though? Nevermind that.. Apart from that, the whole Representatives also came down to fetch us when we first landed in Wuhan. I dint talk to the local students much. Maybe, i look TOO malay, unapproachable and... different?

I don't think i'm that different on the inside: I still want to feel belong and welcome, just like how i know most of them feel like. Maybe there's just not enough opportunity* to talk to them yet. Even though we have our communication barriers up high and tall, there's still no reason to stop going just like how they explained in one of the NE messages; 4. No one owes Singapore a living. We find our way to survive and prosper, turning challenge into opportunity.

Mr Wong is very enthusiastic in class. He used alot of hand motions and showed us his TV on his new, made-in-China phone (TEACHER, ACTION SEY! hahaha). He did that to illustrate a point actually. Dont scold my cute teacher ok people? (:

Went to the back gate to hunt for lunch. Mostly because, its already 12pm and the canteen food stall is said to have limited amount of food left :

Had Lunch with the lucky seven? (hahahah!) :

Xh, Wei Guang, Me, Hashanah

Vivian, Zee Min, XY (aiyo, XY shy eh? haha), Pei Jie

Xh told me and Hash there's more variety here.
Hash and I ordered Ji Tan Mian still! hahaha, this time the noodle is "Dao xiao".
Wahh my chinese Pronounciation is F-grade, I tell you! Tsk.

Then, we walked around and i snapped some scenes; lets summarized my day out with pictures and captions~

A most beautiful feeling stirred inside me when I see the above picture.

Syams (Sun :)

The other Muslim Stall and the owner's Daughter (: i think).

Some photos that we took as we walked in and out of the shop (below):

(I felt uneasy when some of them start playing Darts when none of us wanted to buy someting from the shop: Felt abit embarrased towards the shopowner as we had occupied her space and time but didnt add value to her business. Since its just a short while, I hope she didnt mind that much.)

Below are my highlights for the day (:
1) The bracelet cum Coin Purse that I bought for 5 Yuan instead of 8 Yuan.
(Thanks to all who helped me to bargain :)

2) Sausages Paradise?

"Eh, Why are there so many different size and colour of the sausages?" -Me
"Because different brand... " -Xh

Really ah? Not different flavor ehs?

3) The baby whom was obsessed with the cute "Gougou"

baby w his Dad.
aww ( i miss my dad)

Hash, its okay, dont look sad for me.
i know yu miss yurs too.
LOL

4) I talked to a salesperson in one of the stores. I actually communicated to her all by myself! hahaha! It was short though. I was at the socks department and the salesperson w the pink apron uniform approach me and asked me smth in Chinese. I didn't understand, obviously.

Somehow, we managed to get our msg across. Isnt that amazing?
We used a lot of hand signals and I caught afew chinese terms which i am familiar with and just answer her according to what i know (: its hard but i guess it can be done.

The other salesperson came to take her place since she is able to speak in English but by then I changed my mind to buy the socks already... I think i spent alot.

I'll definitely would want to go back there. There's a Chinese-style teacup set that I'm eyeing and thats not the only one I thought of bringing home as well (;
